PTSD vs PTSI: Breaking the Stigma
PTSD: Seen as a chronic condition that one must “live with”. Comes with the stigma of being diagnosed with a “Disorder.”
PTSI: Recognized as an injury that can be healed/treated. The label of “injury” removes the stigma that prevents many from seeking help.
Post Traumatic Growth (PTG)
