Northwest First Responder, Military, and Spouses Faith Conference with Keynote speaker Eddie Penney
This year’s keynote speaker, Eddie Penney, will bring a powerful message and lead challenging breakout sessions geared specifically toward the first responder and military community. Worship will be provided by the conference team. Eddie speaks from real service, real struggle, and real recovery. His story resonates with those who carry the burden of protecting others. This conference is intentionally built around the unique pressures and spiritual needs of those who serve and those who support them. And after the year North Idaho has had, this kind of gathering matters more than ever. This conference offers space for processing, restoration, and faith-centered encouragement.
First responders and military personnel live with stress, trauma exposure, moral injury, and shift-life realities most people never see. Here, you are surrounded by people who understand that world deeply — including retirees who often miss that level of connection. For our Retirees . . . Retirement often brings a sudden loss of identity and teamwork. This event brings retirees back into a supportive circle where their experience is valued and their presence matters.
Additionally, service impacts the whole household. Spouses deal with worry, isolation, irregular schedules, and the ripple effects of trauma. The conference provides guidance, community, and faith-based tools to strengthen families on and off duty.
Breakout sessions focus on practical strategies for:
strengthening your spiritual and emotional resilience
navigating cumulative stress
maintaining healthy relationships
grounding yourself in purpose
This one-day event gives responders and families space to breathe, reconnect with their faith, and step into the new year grounded and supported — something every member of the first responder and military community deserves.
We hope you will join us.
Cost is $25/person and doors open at 8:30am.
